Amateurs Schemes for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in an awesome game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more experienced gamblers taking their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, beginners should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also easier to play for a very long time with only a tiny amount of money since, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
